How to find your foundation shade online

Buying foundation without trying it is easier when you know what to look for.

Depth first

Our shade numbers run from light to deep. If you know your shade in another brand, start with the shade that has the closest depth.

Then undertone

Look at the veins on your inner wrist in daylight. Green suggests warm, blue suggests cool, and a mix suggests neutral. Many deep skin tones have red undertones, which our 320–480 shades are balanced for.

Match the jaw, not the hand

Your face and neck should match. When you're between two shades, choose the deeper one for evening and the lighter one for daytime.

If you're still unsure, send us a daylight photo of your jawline through the contact page and we'll suggest a shade.
